Repair Holes in Your Wall From Door Knobs

Fixing holes in your wall can be a challenge if you have no idea how to repair the wall or even how it is built.

Have you ever slammed a door shut because you were a little mad a something of someone. Well now have you ever slammed a door open a little to hard and then hearing a sound like something just stuck to the wall.

Well now that would be the sound of your door knob going through the drywall or plaster. Oh crap now what do I do. And don't try to blame this one on the kids either. Right about now you are wondering how in the heck am I going to repair this and not let it happen again.

You should have a nice round hole in the door. Try to remove the piece of drywall without it falling into the wall. After you get this piece of drywall out set it to the side for possible reinstallation. Now get a measuring tape to see if the wall is framed with 2 x 4 or 2 x 6.

If the wall is framed with 2 x 4 it will measure three and one half inches in between the drywall or plaster. If it is a 2 x 6 framed wall it will measure five and one half inches in between the drywall or plaster.

We will use the 2 x 4 wall for our example on fixing the hole from the door knob. Cut a piece of 2 x 4 about 5 inches long and taper both ends of the 2 x 4 so you will be able to slide the piece of wood into the damage hole.

When you slip the wood into the hole set it on edge and screw the sides into the drywall. This will hold the2 x 4 in place. Next reinstall the piece of drywall you removed and screw it into the drywall. Now for the secret to finishing the wall.

Go down to your local home improvement store and purchase a round rubber door stop that glues onto the wall. These rubber and sometimes plastic door stops will be about 6 inches in diameter and work great for these holes.

You could also buy a few more of them to protect the walls from big bad door openers.

When Spiritual Means Practical

In the middle of the last century, Werner Heisenberg, in the process of trying to determine the speed and position of an electron spinning around an atomic nucleus, discovered instead that it was a theoretically impossible task. His path to discovery brought him to the realization that his very presence as an observer changed the observation. Few of us reading this are - or will ever be - nuclear physicists. Yet, all of us have to cope with the problem of perspective as we try to figure out what a balanced life looks like to us right here and now. Our observation - our very awareness - of our own balance (or lack of balance, as the case may be) changes the very conditions of our observations.

Imagine yourself on a moving carousel horse. You're going in numerous directions: serially up and down, and simultaneously around in a circle. Some of parts of the carousel travel with you while you merely watch others spin by. At any given instant, where are you? At least on a carousel you can anticipate where you're going to be in the next second. Your motion is hardly random. Even so, by the time you've figured out exactly where you are in space at any given point, you're no longer there. The same thing happens when we try to figure out what 'now' means: the instant we've figured it out, it has already become 'then'!

Let's dig just a little deeper, shall we? We've just taken a quick look at the difficulties we experience trying to navigate through space and time. Even though our senses are attuned to performing this function, disorientation often accompanies on our perceptions. Now, what happens when we try to improve our life balance? Like Heisenberg, trying to focus on the process of our conscious awareness causes us to become unaware of our surroundings. We can't simultaneously exercise awareness and awareness of our own awareness. When we focus on our own process of awareness, we become less aware of our surroundings.

This sounds all very nice and philosophical, but does it have any practical application? Yes, indeed it does! The only practical way to plot our future course around the carousel is to get off the merry-go-round! Only then can we take the stance of an observer of our own process of living life. Can you think of a time in your life when you've been able to spend some time alone with your thoughts (and maybe with a mentor or adviser) to consider your short-term and long-term future? When was the last time you took a retreat from action? More pointedly, have you ever taken a retreat from action into reflection? The world looks a lot different from the sidelines. Of course, while you're on retreat, your life or business could be taking off in unforeseen (and undesirable) directions.

What if you were able to maintain your active role on the carousel and at the same time have a mirror outside the moving system that shows you your exact position in real time? Where can you find such a mirror that allows you to both live your life and stay aware of your position in the stream of its evolution simultaneously? You don't have to look very far; in fact, you already possess the capacity to perform this minor miracle. We call this remarkable (and often-overlooked) ability 'spiritual intelligence.' This remarkable intelligence (which Dana Zohar calls "the ultimate intelligence") enables you to maintain a higher perspective on the direction your life and career will assume without abstracting you from the mix. You're able to see where you're going while you're deciding where to go.

By fully embracing your spiritual intelligence, you have the opportunity to go on a 'retreat' from the daily grind at will. You get the chance to recharge your intuition and your discernment, and finely tune their functions so that your inner guidance system works smoothly and almost effortlessly. By maintaining a conscious contact with a Higher Power (however you choose to define that), your powers of discernment will allow you to cut through whatever confusion, uncertainty and fear that may threaten to paralyze your decision-making capacity. The baffling dizziness that comes from having too many options with too many consequences will begin to melt away as your destiny emerges from the fog in the light of your spiritual focus.

When you begin to appreciate the critical function that spiritual intelligence plays in informing your decision-making capacity, you'll realize that what at first seemed to be at most a marginal concern (if not just an annoying distraction) is, in reality, the most practical of all your core competencies. How clearly you see your way forward determines, to a great extent, the success of your life and career. How much more practical can you get than that? Get oriented: get spiritual!

Difficulty Accepting Change in the Workplace

We are the slaves of our habits. We get up at the same time every day, we dress in relatively the same manner, we tie our shoe laces in the same fashion, and we mostly like to eat the same breakfast each day.

People will resist changes, if they do not immediately like their new job, new role, or new working conditions.

They may choose to change by altering their behaviour and their working patterns.

In rare cases, there are some people who choose to accept all the changes without any protest or resentment, but this is not the norm.

People DO resist changes: they DO NOT like to get out of their comfort zones.

Many people leave their jobs as they are unable to cope with the new changes that their job demands:

travelling long distances to work as a result of re-location

reporting to more than one boss as a result of requirement to work on multiple projects

being unable to work with a new team as a result of a merger, especially if that team has been together for some time

no longer working with the old peer group

not doing the work which they liked and instead obliged to do something less interesting or pleasing

being resentful towards a change in policy which directly affects the conditions under which they now have to work

Other changes which make it impossible to continue with the new job, such as

"I do not like to travel a lot to get to work! The office is too far now."

"I do not like my new boss."

"I do not like my team members". "I loved my old group of peers!"

"I do not find my work interesting anymore"

These are just a few instances.

The reasons to resist changes at workplace may be innumerable.

Human psychology is very complex and human behaviour is totally unpredictable.

Adjusting to changes means compromising the predictability associated with the old ways.

It may also mean losing your old identity, losing old relationships, and facing the uncertainty of something new.

The 'future' is always uncertain and people prefer to endure the 'present'.

RiseSmart, a job search site, found that almost 30% (one in three) people already employed spend an hour a day looking for a new job.

So, we can conclude that most people have a resistance to changes in the workplace as they are used to certain habits, comfort zones and paradigms.

The key is to break the cycle of habits and adopt and adapt to new changes.

This paradigm shift can only occur if you change your mindset and way of thinking about the concept of change in the workplace.

Any factor that upsets our routine tends to upsets us. We make a habit of taking the same route to work every day and we want to work on what we are used to each day.

Even with a slight change in our work routines, we become upset.

Why are we the slaves of our habits?
Why can we not be daring and do something different each day?
Why do we see people constantly resist change in their workplace?

The answers to these questions and concerns are not easy.

We feel secure following set patterns in our personal and professional lives.

Our minds are conditioned to certain ways and we find it comforting to do exactly what we know we have to do.

That is why we resist change; we like keeping within our comfort zone.

It has been said that your place of work is like your second home.

You have a certain job profile and your duties and responsibilities fir into in that mould.

You knows what your manager expects from you and how you have to work and interact with your team-mates.

Some of the factors that can cause changes in your work environment are:

1. A change in your job title

This, of course, means that your duties could completely change and you may need to upgrade your skills.

2. Working with a new boss or being part of a new team

Everyone gets used to the comfort of predictable group dynamics and find it daunting when there are changes.

3. Changes in policies that affect your work and processes

This is particularly difficult when the changes have been made from above without any input from you or your immediate colleagues.

4. A change in your job location, work hours, working conditions and your pay

Relocation seems to be becoming prevalent.

Accepting flexible working hours to fit in with clients in other parts of the world are also on the rise.

Synonymous with this are also changed working conditions.

5. A change due to a merger, takeover, or a diversification

This last point is the most difficult to come to terms with if it is your company that is being merged with another.

If you possess and habitualise behavioural and mental flexibility, you will be in full control and even enjoy changes when you are part of them.

1) Lets get this straight. Million dollar bank balances are numerical in nature. By that I mean a million bucks is not made up of 1 large million dollar bill. Its made up of exactly one million single's. Or to go to the lowest common denominator, its actually numerically made up of One thousand, million (or 1 billion) cents.

Make money fast and easy by thinking of money as numerical and therefore exponential. A dollar that you hold in your hand is the same as $1 million dollars. No difference at all. Its a seed that grows into a tree, then that tree spurrs more seeds. (I apologize for the metaphor, but how else can we put this so you understand the nature of the reality as it is)

2) When you approach your 1 million dollar goal, you are biting off much much more then you can chew thinking about that million.

To make money fast and easy always think small. Refine, refine, refine. Then duplicate, duplicate, duplicate. Are you with me? Is this making sense? Make a simple little mouse trap, then make lots of mouse traps exactly the same way.

3) Find demand and supply into that demand.

To make money fast and easy, even before you think about "what" you will do, you are going to research demand. You will become an expert at sniffing out needs. This skill is a millionaires bow and arrow. Let me tell you, most millionaires couldn't hit the side of a barn much less the bulls eye. But they DO know this. So their aim is not important. What is important is that the target is nice and gigantic. How can they miss?

Trust me, its what millionaires do, its how millionaires think. Always supply into Fat juicy demand where the picking is easy. Do you want medals of bravery or a million bucks asap?

4) Have a structure you never deviate from.

They always failed to plan when they planned to fail. Once your research is done never deviate from it. Give it a good run but if it doesn't work out for you then move on without shedding a single tear. Chance and "chaos theory" are fascinating things. Probability is what millionaires deal with. They never delude themselves into believing in absolutes.

To make money fast and easy, you will not work backwards or second guess yourself. Plant yourself firmly in the middle of the road on the high side and go forward. Don't make it up as you go. Stick to what your demand planning told you to do. Many give up after 1 failure, but probability is a funny thing. We think we can control it, but even when all your ducks are lined up in a row, it may not work. But give it a chance and let it prove itself and you may find over a number of attempts you will get the results you expected.

5) Diversify AND Go deep.

They call out diversify when it comes to investing. Fair enough. Things change and relying on just one source for your income stream is dangerous. And it is. But there are two sides to every coin.

The pareto principle states that reality and probability are stacked unevenly. We as rational human beings think of everything as equal and even. However scientific evidence and business experience tells a different story. The pareto principle is also known as the 80/20 rule. It states that 80% of your results comes from 20% of your activities. Is this significant if true? You bet. It means that of every effort you make, of all the many things you do to manufacture your results, only 20% actually is responsible for a large proportion (in fact 80%) of them.

So what does this mean in English? It means you can easily quadruple your results by finding out what that special 20% activity is and stop doing everything else. By focusing on just that 20% activity you will not only increase results, but you will create a new pareto principle refined of the old one at a higher level. In this way you move forward and evolve your activities to higher and higher levels.

Another fast and cheap way to a great first impression is to clean the front yard, mow the lawn, trim the trees, throw some grass seed on any bare spots if you have time, and plant a few flowers. Neat, clean and green is the idea. Do this part yourself and you'll be surprised how far a hundred dollars can go.

3. Clean The House Outside

It is amazing how often the front of a house is dirty - even when the home is for sale. If you want to flip that house fast, make it look good! Power-wash it if necessary, and make sure there are no stains on the the front wall nor leaves hanging from the gutters. Shine up any doorknobs or other metal fixtures. This step might cost you nothing but your time, but less than $100 in any case.

4. Stage The House

A house that is empty never feels or looks quite right. Now, it's true that some people can easily imagine what their furniture will look like in those rooms, but not all of us are so good at such visualization. Make it easy on those buyers by having some tables, couches, chairs, and even a few paintings on the walls. If you really want to keep this part cheap and you have nice things at home, borrow them!

5. Use A House Inspection Checklist

It is not only embarrassing to be standing their with a buyer explaining why the toilet doesn't flush, but it is little things like that which can lose a sale. Have a list of things you would check if you were buying a home, and go through your house with it, testing everything, and looking at every room as objectively as possible. Better yet, have a good friend do this for you as though he was interested in the home.

6. Make High-Return Improvements

Repairs have to be done, but many changes are debatable. Should you replace the perfectly good but somewhat ugly carpeting? Maybe. Paint the rooms? Think of the over-all look of the house if you make a set of changes, and do your best to estimate how much they will add to the sale's price. They should add double or more what they cost.

There are often opportunities for improvements with much higher returns. A friend of mine once spent about $1,500 and increased the home's value by about $8,000. How? The basement had big windows, so he added two walls in a corner, along with a cheap paint job and a piece of carpeting to create a bedroom. If you want to flip that house for big profits with little investment in time and money, get creative and look hard for opportunities like this.

Are you a plant killer? Did your tomatoes fail to produce again? If so, hydroponic gardening may be just the thing for you.

Exactly what is hydroponic gardening? To put it simply, hydroponic gardening is growing plants without soil. Instead of using soil, plants are grown using a nutrient solution. Plants can either be grown with their roots in a mineral solution only or in another type of growing medium such as perlite, gravel or rockwool.

In normal plant growth, the soil holds the mineral nutrients that the plants need to grow, but the soil itself isn't essential. The soil is just acting as a reservoir or a place to store the nutrients that the plants need in order to grow. In hydroponic gardening, the nutrients are in the water supply that goes to the plants roots.

There are two main types of hydroponics: solution culture and medium culture. Solution culture is when the plants roots arent in any type of solid medium such as dirt, sand, or gravel.

Medium culture is growing plants with the plants roots in a solid medium. The different types of medium are:

Diahydro a natural sedimentary rock medium

Expanded clay small, round baked spheres of clay

Rockwool basalt rock that has been heated at high temperatures and spun back together

Coir coconut husk fiber

Perlite a volcanic rock that has been superheated into very lightweight expanded glass pebbles.

Sand cheap and easily available but heavy and requires sterilization

Gravel the type that is used in aquariums

Brick Shards broken up brick

Polystyrene Packing Peanuts sometimes too lightweight and are only used in closed tube systems

There are also two types of irrigation methods: subirrigation and top irrigation. Subirrigation involves the nutrient solution being pumped into the medium solution at regular intervals and draining all the way through the medium and back into a reservoir. Thus, the solution passes completely through the medium. This involves the use of a simple timer and keeps the medium flushed with nutrients and air. Top irrigation is accomplished by applying the nutrients only to the surface of the medium.

With all this information, hydroponic gardening may sound complicated, but in reality, it isn't. Many former plant killers are having great success with it and love it because it doesnt use soil. With the use of a grow light, plants can be grown anywhere even your garage and the plants generally yield higher amounts of produce. Hydroponic gardening is fun and productive and if you were previously know as a plant killer among your gardening friends, you just might salvage your gardening reputation.

The Response of Respection - Getting God's Approval

When you receive the Seal you will offer yourself to God as a living sacrifice. God will look upon you with respection, accepting your sacrifice. He will write His own Name upon you in the ultimate show of approval.

God created the world and the surrounding universe in seven days. On the fifth day He created the first man, Adam. He breathed the breath of spiritual Life into Adam once He had shaped him out of the earth.

This is how God will set His Seal upon you. He will shape the Seal out of the earth when He impresses it upon your forehead, for the Seal will be in the shape of the earth where a single wheat Seed is sown.

That single wheat Seed sown in your soul is Jesus Christ. After Jesus grows up and bears Fruit, that Fruit will be more seed you can sow in the garden of your soul.

You may sow that seed as the message of salvation and the message of the Seal. And when that seed bears fruit you may sow it too. It will bear believers in the message as its fruit.

Adam ate the Forbidden Fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God had forbidden it and the punishment was death. Death came upon Adam and Eve and all their offspring from this one act of disobedience.

And Adam was cursed further. God made him work hard to bear fruit from the land. So when God had banished him from the Garden of Eden, Adam began to work the land so it would bear fruit.

Adam was fruitful from the beginning in offspring. He had two sons right away--Cain and Abel. Cain was the firstborn and followed his father in working the land to bear fruit of the land.

Abel kept flocks of sheep. And when Cain and Abel offered to God of their fruits, God look upon Abel with respection--the ultimate show of His Approval. But God did not look with such Approval on the offering of his older brother Cain.

When you cultivate believers in the message of salvation and being sealed, by sowing the seed of Jesus and the message and then the believers, God will look with respection upon your sacrifices too.

Because when you receive the Seal you will lay down your own life. You will become just like Jesus who laid down His Life to save you from your sins. You will not depend on His Sacrifice alone. You will sacrifice yourself.

Indeed you will lay your life down in order to become sealed because that is when Jesus will put you under His feet. You were previously an enemy of God and put under His feet.

Once you are put under the feet of Jesus you are no more His enemy. And since you become sealed you will become His friend. And He will show His Approval by looking upon that sacrifice with respection.

Of course you will also sacrifice yourself by showing mercy to the poor people and the messenger who brings you the message about being sealed. You will help them financially when you are able to.

When you are sealed God will look upon your sacrifice of yourself with His Approval, showing you respection and writing His own Name upon your forehead. So you will belong to God when you receive the Seal.

When, Wow! Thats terrific news! gets replaced by, Oh yeah? Howd you get that? it may be time to start asking, With friends like these, who needs jealous enemies? Honestly, there are only two reasons that your friends are giving you the Third Degree: one, they want to know how you got what you got so they can follow the same course to get it for themselves or two, they want to find some special reason why the good fortune is happening to you and not themlike you slept with the magazine editor, the label guy is your cousin, or your blackmailed the management company into signing you on.

3.) The Alpha Dog --- Clearly, there is an aspect of the artistic personality that craves being the center of attention. It is often that drive for fame and adoration thats shaped some of historys hugest popstars. So, dont be surprised if your jealous friend squashes your elation with the announcement of his or her bigger news. If you win Best Songwriter in the city, then he/shes won Best Songwriter in the country, in the world, in the galaxy, or in the universe. This is the kind of musician that constantly needs affirmation (from him/herself and others) that he/she is the hottest, coolest and most talented artist around. No matter how famous you get, youll always play second fiddle to the Alpha Dogeven if its just in his or her mind.

Days after your spill your great luck, you may find that it is no longer happening. Either the source of your good fortune is now simply not interested or has found a better candidate on which to bestow the greatness of your former musical riches: your jealous friend, The Saboteur! 6.) The Beggar --- Probably, the most insidious of all of the jealous friends, the Beggar will fall apart seconds after the exciting revelation has left your lips. Why, oh why, he or she will exclaim, Is this happening for you and not me? What have I done wrong? Ive put years and years into this business and nothing ever happens for me! There will be whining, cajoling and, of course, lots of crying. Crocodile tears will spill down the face of your jealous friend as he or she begs you to get him/her the same opportunities you have. There will be threats of getting out of the business, threats of never talking to you again because Im too much of a loser to be friends with a successful person like you, threats of disappearing forever, running away, holding his or her breath until death ensues. By the time The Beggar is done with you, youll gladly hand over your new musical prize, just to get the begging to stop.

Unfortunately, weve all had friends in the music business just like this and although you may think it will pass, that they will grow out of it at some point, usually these personality types are here to stay. Any of these sorts of pals will drain you emotionally and creatively, backstab you at every turn, and definitely not look out for your best interests. In short these so-called friends are not your friends at all. Real friends support you through good and bad, and are genuinely happy for your good fortune even if the same level of success never comes to them. So, if any of your buddies fit one or more of the criteria above: get away from them, change your phone number, dont answer your door, wear a hat, cross to the other side of the street when you see themand then please, make some real friends.

What Does the Beast in Revelations Look Like?

In the book of revelations, located in the Holy Bible, it mentions that all of the inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast, unless your name is written in the book of life. I don't know exactly what that means but it sounds simple. I would imagine, that an educated Christian researcher, pastor or anyone with experience, manipulating the Scriptures to create something to benefit Christianity or real Christians, wouldn't have a problem explaining this verse to others and having it actually make sense.

The part I left out, is that the beast is described in detail in Revelations. The beast isn't going to be hard to notice, and he is going to be coming out of the sea. You're going to be looking for something with 10 horns but it's only can I have seven heads. It's going to have seven heads but 10 crowns, one on each horn. He's going to look like a leopard but have feet like a bear and a mouth like a lion.

Revelation 13:1 And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

Revelation 13:2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.

That's a pretty clear description and if anyone sees something like that, coming out of the ocean, I would suggest that you, immediately joining the right Christian Church. Now, how would you even know which Christian Church to belong to. Which one of these Christian churches is supporting the false profit.

I don't know if the fear of the world coming to an end, with the hope of entering heaven is enough to convert me into a Christian. However, trying to live a good life like Jesus, showing love and compassion for others might.

But I really don't have to belong to any organization, to actually show compassion and love for other beings or entities. This is a choice that I can actually make on my own, without praying or reading any books. I can make this choice today and without fear.

There's this famous saying from Louis Parrish, "If you can organize your kitchen, you can organize your life". Well, for some of us, it would take some time to get up and make a move on getting into action with our kitchen. Here are some important tips on how you can organize this important part of your house.

#1.First and foremost, put in mind that you are cleaning the kitchen. This means, do away with all the clutter and piles of stuff that you can find inside that doesn't have anything to do with what goes on the kitchen. Like for example, sometimes we see stacks of bills and other papers found in the kitchen table or on the counter for that matter. Well, such things could be a hazard since paper is a very combustible material. So better do away with those things. Put away books, clothes, toys and other irrelevant and unimportant things.

Also, if you think that some of the stuffs found in your kitchen aren't that needed, you can also opt to put them away for awhile and just bring them back out when you need to use it again.

#2. If you are fond of using many and different kinds of electric kitchen appliances, bear in mind that you have to keep the wirings, sockets and outlets in tack and in good condition. The last thing we would want to happen is to get electrocuted due to some faulty wiring conditions. Always keep those appliances clean and away from wet and moist places.

#3. Make use of your cup holders and other places of utensil storage. These places are good in keeping your utensils safe and clean. Also, it's a great way to show off your favorite cups and mugs.

#4. An organized kitchen is clean and odorless. When sanitizing, avoid mixing many chemicals and different cleaning solutions. Doing so may hurt the surfaces of your cabinets and kitchen walls. Also, the fumes from mixing the solutions are hazardous to your health. Stick to one cleaning solution and don't forget to wear protective gear. Not only will your health be protected, but your kitchen may be preserved as well.

#5. Before going out to do some groceries, make sure to clean out and organize your refrigerator first. Doing so makes it easier for you to arrange it later. I guess it's better to have them arranged neatly than have them shoved everything in.

#6. Clean the area from the inside out. When planning on to clean your kitchen, start off first with your cupboards, under your kitchen sink, refrigerator and other cabinets. Then, after clearing it all up, you can then move on to clean the surroundings and easy to reach places. This would give you a more efficient way of doing such a daunting task.

# 7. Lastly, remember that the motto of the kitchen is clean as you go. Wiping off a little spill or washing the dishes and pans while waiting for the food to get cooked would surely save you a lot of time in cleaning afterwards. Not only will you have ample time to spend with your family and friends after eating, but you will also have the great and exciting feel to cook as there is now a cleaner and more inspiring atmosphere of a fresh kitchen.

How to Grow Patio Tomatoes

If you want to know how to grow patio tomatoes, read on. If you don't have a garden or greenhouse, don't worry, because tomatoes can grow very well on the patio as long as you care for them correctly.

Patio Tomato Containers

First of all, choose a suitable container. You might want to go for something decorative if you want to spruce up your patio. Some patio tomatoes come in containers that can be placed inside decorative ones. As long as the tomato plant is not too snug, this also provides adequate drainage.

Choose a tomato plant from your local garden center that is clearly marked "patio tomato". Regular tomatoes don't grow so well in containers. Choose a potting soil designed for growing flowers and vegetables.

Fill the container with soil about halfway and place the tomato plant in the middle. Fill the rest of the container until the soil is 2 or 3 inches from the top. Make sure you add fertilizer as required and water your plant enough. Anyone who knows how to grow patio tomatoes will reaffirm that tomatoes love a lot of organic material in the soil. A couple of inches of compost on top and worked into the top couple of inches works wonders for them. There are healthy microorganisms in the compost which earthworms break down. This frees the minerals which will nourish , discourages pests and makes tomato diseases more unlikely. You can put a few inches of mulch on top too, such as leaf or straw, to combat wind and water erosion, conserve moisture and stop weed germination.

The tomato plants need to be moist rather than soaking. Uniform watering is the key to the best because it prevents end rot and leaf-end roll. It need to be moist 6 inches down. They need 1 inch of water weekly. It is best to water in the late afternoon or early evening with enough time for the plants to dry off before nightfall.

Planting Patio Tomatoes

Plants won't begin to bear fruit until the overnight temperature is at least 55C but you can plant them when it is 50F. Patio tomatoes do not usually need to be staked. If your pot does not have a drain hole, you should put some gravel in the bottom of the pot before you put the soil in.

The container needs to get a lot of sun if possible. You will also need to prune the plants frequently. This conserves the energy of the plant and directs it towards fruit production. You need to pinch off any side shoots. You should prune your patio tomato plants weekly.

Harvesting Patio Tomatoes

Patio tomatoes are ready to harvest in 60 or 70 days, when they are completely ripe and beginning to soften. Keep them in warm, dark conditions but do not refrigerate them because they will lose a lot of flavor. For the best results, use your tomatoes within 3 days of harvesting. Remember than cooked sauce with home grown they freezes well. It is easy to learn how to grow patio tomatoes and thanks to their ability to freeze well, you can have an endless supply as long as you follow the above tips.

Where is Heaven

Many people live their lives with the assumption that Heaven is out there somewhere and is completely separate from life on earth. Many are taught that Heaven is a mystical place only accessed through death of the physical body. But in actuality, the spiritual planes of reality and the physical earth plane interpenetrate one another in the same point in space. Each plane has its own unique energetic structure that vibrates at its own frequency. The physical world is the lowest vibration of energy and actually lies within higher vibrational planes.

We can routinely access some of the higher, less dense planes through sleep, meditation or prayer. Whenever we are in an altered state of consciousness, we align with higher vibrational planes of reality and may come to have an expanded awareness that we dont experience in a waking state.

In the case of meditation , as we connect with our higher self, our creativity may be awakened or we may experience a light bulb moment that gives us a better understanding of who we are or of a situation going on in our lives.

As we dream, we are whisked off to a land of symbolismthe secret language of Spirit. Dreams can offer clues that can help us to resolve matters in our current waking lives. Through our dreams, we may also come in contact with deceased friends or family members or even catch a glimpse of an event that hasnt happened yet. Dream interpretation is a very useful tool that can bring the workings of Heaven into our awareness.

In prayer to the God of our understanding, we place ourselves in a position to be humbly conscious of the limitless possibilities that Heaven offers us. By recognizing the opportunities open to us, we can act on them and bring them into manifest.

Heaven is not a place, it is a system a system of subtle energies that are constantly stirring about and creating new effects that help shape and transform our daily lives. The earth plane is not separate from this system; it is merely the physical component of it. The system that sustains us in life is the same system that sustains us in death.

How Comfortable Are You Talking About Religion? - Religion and Spiritual Communication

How do we overcome our difficulties talking about religion with other people? This would also include people that we talk to about religion and agree with us. If someone tends to agrees with us most of the time, this could create difficulties in a different way. Their constant agreement could tell us a couple of things about them, either they don't know enough about the topic you're discussing, have no interest in it or they don't want to upset you and will tend to agree with you often if not always.

The biggest problem, dealing with the difficulties in talking about religion would involve two people who disagree on one or many topics. These topics could range from very important (life changing and factual) to common beliefs. When someone ask you a question like, "Do You Believe in God?", this could lead to an argument with the wrong person.

You can be honest, but always have an exit response if things get a little out of hand. Whenever someone chooses to become animated or mad at me, because of something I said, that they don't believe in, I can simply choose to remove myself from their presence. I would like to point out to my readers, rarely do I ever choose to remove myself from any heated discussion but often encourage or egg them on.

If you don't feel comfortable asking questions about religion, but seek answers from others, start with simple unoffensive questions and lead your way into the bigger ones. For example if I wanted to know, why someone believes in Hinduism, but am afraid to directly ask them... have someone else asked them. Okay maybe that's the easy way out, but you could always start with a question related to their childhood like," How Old Were You When You Started Going to Church?"

They might reply with, we don't go to church, we go to Temple or Mandir. This often breaks the ice that could lead to the end of the conversation, quickly. If you did a little research before you spoke with them, you could always replace church with the word temple but not Mandir. This might give them the impression, you already know about their religion, let them explain their religion to you.

If this is handled in a nonthreatening way, it could lead to a friendship of greater trust and now you can ask the bigger questions. Asking the big questions sometimes, even in a friendly environment this could become frustrating if your intentions are other than just gathering information. Don't try to convert anyone to follow your religion or spiritual practices. This could end the relationship quickly and cause bad feelings.

Treat people like you would like to be treated and if you treat people poorly, disregard the last statement and treat people with kindness and compassion.

Factual Information in Christian Documentaries

I was watching a television show a few weeks ago and I would rather not mention the name of the program or the presenter of it. I can make my point without making anyone angry. The television show was all about proving that Christianity was real and they had evidence to prove it. The program was full of scholars and teachers. Some of these teachers were from unknown universities, as a matter of fact, I hadn't heard of any of them before this program.

Some of these teachers had very interesting ideas and philosophies on Christianity and I could see quite clearly how someone who was looking for facts could very easily get caught up in the hype in the program. When you start off asking a question, you should be able to answer it without beating around the bush and the answers should the comprehendible and easy to understand. Especially if the question was easy to understand.

If I asked you the question, is Jesus God, and your reply is frank and to the point with a simple "Yes He Is". I can accept this as your beliefs and could probably make sense out of your beliefs through your education, what you were taught and who taught it to you. This makes perfect sense to me and is easy to understand.

If I asked the same question, is Jesus God, and you reply with "let me set the record straight here and give you some truthful information about something that you might not know about. Searching for over 40 years and found the answer and now know for a fact and without a doubt that Jesus is God. Reading the Bible and talking to other Christian scholars has presented me with information that points to the truth and can prove the existence of Jesus and therefore, without a doubt in my mind, I can honestly say that Jesus is God and will be god forever and for anyone who doesn't understand that or agree with it, I feel sorry for them, because they will have to burn in purgatory forever. This death will be the most agonizing and painful death you could ever possibly imagine.

The second answer doesn't give me any more information than the first one, and this is what some religious documentary programs do. This program did it so much, that I had to watch it a second time, just to see if I missed what they were saying. I did gain a little more insight, the second time but the point of the program was completely misleading and relatively speaking, very little factual information was obtained from it.

Don't get caught up in the hype, while watching or listening to some of these programs. Try to watch them with an open mind and see for yourself, just how much factual information or scientific proof there actually is in the program. When I say, to watch these programs with an open mind, that doesn't mean to accept their information without proof. Do some research for yourself, to verify their opinions.

Affirmations - Far More Than Just Positive Thinking

When someone mentions affirmations, the first thing that comes into your mind is positive thinking. The classic positive thinking affirmation was created by Dr. Emil Coue. "Everyday in every way, I get better and better. The idea behind this type of affirmation is to create new positive habits and thoughts. This works very well but, it is only half of the story. There is another type of affirmation and it is just as important as positive affirmations.

The problem is that the subconscious mind accepts any belief without question. For example, the old belief that you wish to replace is that wealthy people are greedy. You have heard this throughout your lifetime and it becomes set in stone in your subconscious. When you realize that you have this false belief, normally, you would create an affirmation that will give you a new belief. For example, you might start using an affirmation like: I am grateful that my wealth grows each and everyday for with great wealth I can do great good.

This is an excellent new belief for your subconscious but, it also creates a problem. Although the subconscious has accepted this new belief, it has also created a conflict in your mind. Although you have created a new positive belief, it has not eliminated the old negative belief that rich people are greedy. Both beliefs are existing side by side in your mind and the old belief still has it's self-limiting effects.

What I use to overcome the old negative thought pattern is what I call a reprogramming affirmation. The point of this is to convince the subconscious that the old self-limiting belief needs to be eliminated from the data bank. Reprogramming affirmations tend to be somewhat more complex than positive affirmations.

For example, my reprogramming affirmation might read something like: Many people say that the rich are greedy but this is a false belief. Rich people have an abundance mindset and readily give away large portions of their income because they know that their is a limitless supply of wealth. For example, Bill Gates out of the kindness of his heart has created numerous philanthropic organizations and given away millions of dollars of his personal worth to help the poverty stricken of the world. He is super rich but obviously not greedy.

The subconscious is not capable of judgment. It runs automatically in the background and helps us make it through the day. It is our conscious responsibility to control and correct any data that is held within it's data banks. Properly programmed, the subconscious will rapidly propel us toward limitless wealth and self-fulfillment. But, only when there are no conflicts within the data of this most powerful of digital computers.

Things to Keep in Mind When Choosing a Condominium Unit Or Town Home Complex

When you buy a Langley condominium unit or townhouse complex, there are certain things you should always keep in mind.

The structure:

See if the building built was really designed to be a condominium or town home complex. If it wasn't, there would be obvious signs of conversion on the structure. If you really want to make sure, check with the local city planning office. Ask for the plans that were submitted to them by the developer. Conversions can look inconspicuous and it could even better than the old design. However, noise and insulation problems may arise from this since the original design was made for a different purpose.

Insist on having a building inspection done for a condominium or town home unit that you are keen on acquiring. Building inspection techniques and methodology for condos are somewhat different from traditional houses. Some costs that you may incur in the inspection may fall under the responsibility of the association.

Most inspections also cover the common areas of the building. Some building inspection procedures may involve invasive techniques to be able to identify particular structural integrity concerns. Flat Screens and Fireplaces

In every design or home magazine you'll see it: a big expensive flat panel television mounted directly above a fireplace. It seems like a very popular idea, but is it a good one?

First of all, no fireplace manufacturer supports placing their fireplaces near a television. Every television is made differently, so it would be impossible for a fireplace manufacturer to confidently guarantee that the television would be constructed in a way that it would withstand the heat from the fireplace. Secondly, because there is such variation between fireplace models and how much heat each is capable of producing, no television manufacturer can state with certainty that their product would withstand being placed near the myriad of potential fireplaces. What that means to the consumer is that if you do decide to place a television above a fireplace and it is damaged from excessive heat, the manufacturers are not responsible - you are on the hook for it. With that caveat in mind, there are several things that are recommended in order to reduce the amount of heat reaching the television in the event that you insist on mounting it above the fireplace.

When planning for your fireplace, consider including a solid non-combustible mantle in your design. A well-placed mantle shelf can absorb and deflect the rising heat before it reaches your television; just make sure that it extends far enough from the front of the fireplace to do so. Granite, natural stone or concrete make ideal mantle shelves. You are not limited to these suggestions though - the only prerequisite is whatever material you use needs to be non-combustible. Recessing the television into the wall is also another effective way of lessening the impact of the rising heat.

How your fireplace is vented can also affect what the television is subjected to. You want to have your fireplace rear vented if you can. In a rear vent installation the chimney vent attaches to the rear of the fireplace, rather then to the top of the unit. Fireplace venting can get extremely hot when the fireplace is in operation, so by installing a fireplace with the venting not directly behind the television (as in the case of a top vent install) you can keep that extra heat away from the television. Keep that in mind when picking your fireplace, because not all fireplaces can be vented from the rear.

The last point is a matter of personal opinion, but an important consideration none the less. When a fireplace is installed into a room, it instantly becomes a focal point with its captivating dancing flame. Having a fireplace above it does not change this. Installing a television above a fireplace will result in having two visually imposing appliances that compete for your attention. You'll have to decide if that is something that you can live with.
